Secondary artwork can be developed for special events such as the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center, which opened in 2008. The artwork must be coordinated and approved by the President's Office. The artwork is valid for use one year from the date of the building opening or event debut. After the one-year anniversary, the department and college must retire the artwork and use the University logo on all publications and Website.
The artwork must relate to the University branding. For instance the Knowledge Center artwork consists of a stylized drawing of the Knowledge Center rotunda. This drawing can be used with or without the wordmark pictured here. If the artwork is used without the wordmark, the full name of the building and the full name of the University must appear on the piece.
The artwork must use the University's color palette and may appear in blue, black or reversed out (in white) on silver, blue or black.
The Block N logo should be used in conjunction with all uses of the Knowledge Center artwork. Exceptions granted on a case-by-case basis when the imprint area is small (e.g. pens or pencils).
