Biographical Information:
My name is Malia Mitooka and I am the Admissions Coordinator for the Intensive English Language Center.
I grew up in Northern California and after a couple of years living in New York City, I now call Reno home. Reno has all the best things that a city can offer, great restaurants, festivals, ball games, yet it still has the friendliness of a small town. Plus, you can't beat all of the outdoor activities that are available all year around.
While in college, I was lucky enough to spend a semester studying in Italy. Being able to learn the language in the native country was a wonderful experience. I still remember the excitement I felt when I could actually carry on a conversation with one of the locals. I hope that you are able to have that same experience.
