Argenta Hall was built in two phases the first being completed in August of 2000 and the second being completed in August of 2003. It is 7 stories tall and houses up to 750 students with great views of downtown Reno.
Rooms in Argenta Hall are triple occupancy, same-sex by room, and include a private bathroom shared between the three roommates. Furniture in the room includes 3 bookcases, 3 desks, 3 dressers, and 3 bunkable 80 inch beds.
Furniture in the room includes 3 bookcases, 3 desks, 3 dressers, and 3 bunkable 80 inch beds. If the students decide not to bunk their beds, the bed can go high enough to conceal the dresser underneath.
Every floor has vend-a-card operated laundry facility that includes three washers and three dryers. They are open 24 hours a day to all Argenta Hall residents and every semester Nevada Housing hosts a free laundry weekend.
Argenta Hall contains several lounges for student activities, residence hall programs, study groups, and socializing.
Each floor also features a TV lounge that is available to students who wish to study other places beside their room or get a group of friends together to watch the big game.
Argenta Hall sits atop our state of the art dining facility The Downunder Cafe. The Downunder Café features buffet style dining where most of our residents spend their breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They can enjoy many food concepts from oriental cuisine to a salad bar.
