Lauren

Lauren Slemenda

Resident Director for Argenta Hall

Hello, Argenta Alpacas! I am so excited to be returning to the 'A-Team' for  a second year, and can't wait to meet all of you! I am originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, and got my Bachelor of Arts in music from The Ohio State University. I got my Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration from the University of Central Missouri, and have been working at the University of Nevada ever since! During my career, I've also had the privilege of working at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri and Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, spending time outdoors, and adding to my collection of tattoos

Hello! I'm Mindy and I grew up in Baraboo, Wisconsin, this makes me a true Packer's and Brewer's fan. I got my bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and I am in my second year of my Master's degree at the University of Nevada, Reno. This is my second year as a graduate resident director and am looking forward to a new experience in Argenta hall. For fun, I like to travel, participate in fun runs, craft, and spend time with my loved ones.

David Jones

Graduate Resident Director for Argenta Hall

Hello! I'm David Jones and I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I recently graduated from Louisiana State University, where I received a degree in mass communication - public relations and minors in business and English. In my spare time, I enjoy running, reading, writing and responsibly binge-watching shows on Netflix. I also enjoy spending time with friends and finding those little places that make a town or city special. I'm excited to be working in Argenta Hall this year as some of my favorite, and sometimes most unbelievable, RA memories come from working with freshman students. I'm looking forward to making more great memories as a GRD!
