Katy Chase

Resident Director for Argenta Hall

My name is Katy Chase and I am so excited to be the Argenta (the best hall) RD! I am originally from the Willamette Valley in Oregon and got my B.S. in Sociology from the University of Oregon in 2010. From there, I moved to Las Vegas (where I realized the desert is not for me) and earned my M.Ed in Higher Education Leadership at UNLV. I am an avid foodie and love to try new restaurants and new recipes. My newest interest is reading about parenting and early childhood education as my partner and I had a baby girl in early October!

Mitch Foster

Graduate Resident Director for Argenta Hall

Hello! My name is Mitch Foster and I am a native of Big Rapids, Michigan, which is about 4 hours northwest of Detroit. I graduated from Northern Michigan University in 2011 with my Bachelors of Science in Political Science and am currently working towards my Master's degree in Public Administration. When I am not working in Argenta I enjoy reading, going to a local park for a run, and participating in intramurals. I grew up as a Green Bay Packer and New York Yankee fan and have been ever since (even during disappointing seasons). With this being my second year in Argenta, I am excited to see the growth of the staff and students into the adults that they can become. I know that this year will bring amazing surprises with it that will allow our students to shine!
