The School of Community Health Sciences conducts research, delivers dedicated service and produces top graduates to improve public health, promote individual well-being and eliminate health disparities to people across the state of Nevada, the United States and the world. Since our founding in 2004 our graduates have gone on to positions at universities, hospitals, state and county health departments, medical schools and Ph.D. programs from across the country. We offer an undergraduate degree in health ecology and two graduate degrees, including the popular master of public health degree. Through our health ecology major, our undergraduate students are prepared to work in a variety of public and private positions, from hospital administration to community health educator to fitness training and physical therapy.
