5/7/09 - Graduation Ceremony

 

Please join us for the cording ceremony celebrating the achievements of our Minor and Graduate students. Festivities will be held in the Knowledge Center, Randall Rotunda. 4/16/09 - National Healthcare Decisions Day (NHCDD)

 

NHCDD is "an initiative to encourage patients to express their wishes regarding healthcare and for providers and facilities to respect those wishes, whatever they might be."

 

The Nevada Center for Ethics & Health Policy will be sponsoring events on this special day to assist students who are interested in filing their healthcare decisions for free with the Secretary of State's office. Please check back later for details.

 

 

4/10/09 - HCE Student Case Presentations

 

Noon to 1pm at the Basque Conference Room, 3rd Floor Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center. Case presentations will include "Palliation and End of Life Care at the VA", and "HIV Incarceration and Drug Abuse in an Age of Diminishing Resources". We hope to see you there!

 

4/ 6, 9, 13, 16/09 - Student HealthCare Decisions Day at UNR

 

Take charge of your end of life decisions today! Come by our booth and pick up your Advance Directive packets, ask questions, and enter our iPOD raffle! We will have tables outside the Joe Crowley Student Union, and Hilliard Plaza between 10am and 1pm.

 

4/4-5/09 - Nevada Women's Expo

 

Please stop by our booth where we will be handing out free Advance Directives and answering questions about living wills and healthcare decisions.

The Program in Health Care Ethics cordially invites you to celebrate the commencement of our students at the Health Care Ethics Graduation Ceremony.
