A Message from the Chair of Health Care Ethics

To those returning students, and those interested in our ethics program, I’d like to extend a warm welcome. You will find information on our program, the classes, and application packets on our navigation bars. If you have any questions, please contact us at ethics@unr.edu. We're here to help you.
The summer brought a number of changes to our program, Dr. Craig Klugman, our Chair and the heart and soul of HCE, has taken a position in Texas. It is with both great sadness and happiness that we see him move on to another phase in his outstanding career. I am honored to have the opportunity to be the new Chair of Health Care Ethics, and look forward to a year of growth and success in our program.
There is another exciting change for us, our move into the new Division of Health Sciences. I believe this will provide greater opportunities for collaboration and student involvement in our program and am looking forward to our official “starting” date of July 1st.
Please feel free to stop by our office in Mackay Science room 105 and get acquainted with faculty and staff. We’re here to help you have a positive and successful experience in your educational journey at the University of Nevada, Reno.
