Travel Program
The Graduate Student Association offers limited financial support to graduate students attending professional conferences. Grants are awarded three times per year. Application materials are available on the GSA forms page.
Scholarships, Grants, and Loans
The Graduate Student Association sponsors several scholarships, grants, and loan programs for current graduate students. Programs include medical hardship and childcare scholarships; financial crisis grants; transitional loans, and computer loans. Spring Awards Program
Each spring semester, the Graduate Student Association sponsors an awards program for outstanding UNR graduate students. Scholarships and grants are awarded in several categories, including research, teaching, and mentoring. Application materials are available on the GSA Spring Awards Program page. Household Items Program
The GSA Household Items program collects and distributes various furniture items and other household necessities for current graduate students. The GSA will pick up and deliver items as needed. To inquire about the Household Items program, email the committee chairperson.
