Bate Papo: Brazilian Culture and Portuguese Language Club

Bate Papo is a club organized around the Brazilian culture and language. Currently the club has members from the Reno community, UNR and Truckee Meadows Community College who share an enthusiasm for the Brazilian culture and language. The club began in the spring of 2011, and is still going strong with meetings occurring every two weeks to once a month. Members have the opportunity to practice their Portuguese with the help of Brazilian-Americans and other members fluent in the language.
