There is also interest in starting the fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. which was founded on January 9th, 1914 by three Men on the campus of Howard University based on the Principles of "Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service" and the Motto "Culture for Service and Service for Humanity". They believed that a potential member should be judged by his own merits, not affluence and without regard of race, nationality, skin tone or texture of hair. The Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. is expanding to the University of Nevada, Reno. For more information, please check out the website at www.nevadawiki.org/Phi_Beta_Sigma_Fraternity_Inc.
