IFC Fraternity Recruitment

 

Fraternity Recruitment takes place the first 2-3 weeks of each semester. Fraternity recruitment consistes of chapter tabling on the Student Union Lawn to distribute information about their fraternity and invite interested students to individual chapter events.

 

To obtain more information, complete a fraternity interest form and stop by the [G]movement and chapter tables during the first three weeks of school.

 

  1. Complete a Fraternity Interest form.
  2. Pick up a master list of recruitment events at the [g]movement tables during freshmen move -in or at the New Student Orientation Club Fair.
  3. Attend the Fraternity House Tours on Sunday, August 24th, during New Student Orientation.
  4. Contact the fraternity you are interested in through the contacts list on this website.
  5. Attend as many Recruitment events as you can.
  6. Ask questions about the process, financial obligations, the time required, community service, athletics, academics, benefits, etc.
  7. Choose the Chapter that fits you and what you are looking for in a fraternity.
  8. Sign a "Bid Card" with the Chapter.
  9. Find out the time and location of the first meeting for Pledges/ New Members.
