A spatial approach to the physical and human phenomena that are distributed over the Earth's surface is the focus of the Geography Standards for Nevada. The outcome of these standards is a geographically informed person who sees meaning in the arrangement of things in space; who sees relations among people, places, and environments; who uses geographic skills; and who applies spatial and ecological perspectives to life situations.
