Provides a wide range of health care services. If you have paid your student health fee there is no charge for your office visit. Many services are included in student health fee but other services are available at a cost or at a reduced rate.

The Center provides programs and services that support the academic and social success for ALL students at the University of Nevada through advisement, leadership development, counseling, student organizations, outreach, and intercultural programming. Offer a multitude of opportunities for student involvement, support, networking and social interaction.


Veterans Services

Fitzgerald Student Services Building

Provides support for applying for and receiving veteran education benefits. Provide assistance with submitting forms and information to the Veteran Affairs Education Benefits Office for the student. Also help certifying classes being taken by the student, and education benefit advising.


Food Pantry

Helps students whether undergraduate or graduate, full-time or part-time in need by allowing them to request a supply for food. Food Pantry maintains a supply of non-perishable foods and can also issue grocery store gift cards. Program is aimed at helping out students who cannot afford food due to a financial crisis or great financial barriers.


Campus Escort Service

Provides safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable escorts for the University of Nevada, Reno students, staff, faculty and visitors to their vehicles, residence or any facility on campus or within a two mile radius from the perimeter of the University campus.

Free legal help and referral. Provide legal information to better understand the problem and referrals are to local attorneys who offer reduced and/or waived fees to Nevada students. Also provide free Notary Public Services.

Provides support and advice to help international students and family during their stay in the United States. Provides assistance with admission to the university, smooth transition from home country to living in the United States, a better understanding of the policies, procedures, and regulations that pertain to visa status. Also provide assistance with university policies, procedures, resources and expertise on federal laws that pertain to international students and scholars. Also help with intercultural understanding and training.

Provides students with support services who have learning barriers or unique needs. The DRC provides accommodations and services such as Note-Taking Services, Reduced Course Load Policy, Registration Assistance, counseling, alternative testing,Auxiliary Aid: (CART, Remote CART, Interpreter for the Deaf, TypeWell), Classroom Aids, Classroom & Building/access, Course Substitutions, Faculty Liaison, Math 019/119 (2 semester course equivalent to Math 120).
