Harrah's Lake Tahoe
A block of rooms has been reserved for those attending the conference. The room rates are for single or double occupancy. These special group rates are available two days before and two days after the conference and will be based on availability at the time the reservation is made. All rates are in U.S. dollars.

A credit card for the first night's deposit is required to guarantee the reservation. Your credit card will be charged for one night's room and tax at the time you make the reservation.
Check In/Check Out Time
Check in time is 4:00 PM and checkout time is 12:00 noon.
**Departures after 12:00 noon are subject to a half day charge.
Deadline for Booking
All reservations under the Group Code S05GAMB must be made prior to Friday, May 8, 2009. After this date, rooms will be available on a space available basis at the prevailing hotel rate.
Cancellation Policy
Harrah's Lake Tahoe requires that you cancel your reservation 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid forfeiting the charge for the first night's room and tax.

General Travel Information
South Lake Tahoe is located 60 miles from Reno, Nevada. For domestic travelers, the simplest way to reach the conference will be to fly into Reno. From there, one can rent a car or take the South Tahoe Express shuttle which operates between the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and the major South Lake Tahoe hotels.

Lake Tahoe, the jewel of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, sits perfectly between Nevada and California with close access to some of the best sites to see in both states. Reno, historic Virginia City, and Nevada's State Capitol, Carson City are all within an hour east of Lake Tahoe. San Francisco, Napa County's wine country, and California's State Capitol, Sacramento, are all within two to four hours west of the area.

Memorial Day Holiday
Please note that May 25, 2009 is observed as Memorial Day in the United States. The weekend of May 22-25 may be an extremely busy travel weekend. Keep this in mind when making your airline, car, and hotel arrangements and book early.
