Founded: April 6th, 1987 at Texas Tech University (Lubbock, Texas)

Founding at Nevada: 2004

Overview: Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. Alpha Eta Chapter was established at the University of Nevada, Reno on December 12, 2004. Since their founding date the ladies of Kappa Delta Chi have been guided by their founding principles of unity, honesty, integrity and leadership. They dedicate their time to community service, academics and leadership. Kappa Delta Chi strives to always maintain the most important value of all, sisterhood. As members of a Latina founded sorority, the women of Kappa Delta Chi understand the importance of culture and diversity. Kappa Delta Chi fosters an environment for growth and development so that all women can become leaders in their own respective way.

Founding Principles: Unity, Honesty, Integrity, and Leadership

Chapter Strengths and Focus: Sisterhood, academics, community service, leadership, Membership growth and development

Major events: Soccer Initiative, Sports Bash, Giving Thanks Dinner, Adopt a Road, Big Brothers Big Sisters Halloween, Emerald Cup

New member Dues: $250

Active Member Dues: $95 per semester

Length of Pledge Period: 8 weeks
