The Foundation Banquet, one of the Foundation's central fundraising events, draws capacity audiences of more than 600 people annually. Keynote speakers for the banquet are widely respected in their fields and around the world. Some past speakers include George Will, Thomas Friedman, Cokie Roberts and Sam Donaldson.

This year's speaker is Forrest Sawyer, one of America's most respected television journalists. With more than 24 years of experience reporting from around the world, Mr. Sawyer is a veteran of ABC, CBS and MSNBC. He has anchored Day One and Turning Point, as well as World News Sunday and Good Morning America.
