- Senior Director, Facilities Maintenance Services
The University of Nevada, Reno is accepting applications for the Senior Director, Facilities Maintenance Services. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Facilities Services, this position is responsible for oversight and coordination of all campus maintenance services. The position oversees 192 personnel in six functional areas that maintain 131 buildings and structures containing approximately 3.9 million gross square feet of space on 251 acres on the main campus and three satellite sites. In addition this position manages and oversees a total budget of $ 15.5 million.
Facilities Maintenance Services is currently implementing proactive maintenance management strategies, transforming the way maintenance is performed on the 130-year-old campus. Initiatives include optimization of the computerized maintenance management system, centralization of the planning, purchasing and warehousing functions, as well as a strong focus on preventative and planned maintenance, and customer service.
The University is seeking candidates with strong personnel management skills and a proven background in proactive maintenance management practices.
