Each building on campus has an occupant listserve that is managed by the AVP Facilities Office. The occupants of a building will be notified by email if they could possibly be impacted or inconvenienced by any of the following situations:
- Utility Shutdowns
- Parking Closures
- Maintenance Efforts by Facilities Staff
- Construction Projects Causing:
- Excessive Noise
- Door Closures
- Other Situations Impacting Faculty, Staff and Students
To make sure you receive these notifications, please update the Employee Self Service (ESS) system if you have a building, room, or department change. To have your name removed from the list, please make sure to cancel your information on ESS if you have resigned from the university.
A list of the correct building abbreviations for campus is located on the building abbreviations. When entering your location information in ESS please put the building abbreviation first followed by the room number. As an example, Facilities Services building, room 100 should read FS100.
