THOMPSON BUILDING RENOVATION

  • Square Footage: 19,934
  • Scope: The Thompson Hall Renovation Project included major office space layout changes through demolition and renovation of walls and finishes. Restroom and ADA compliance improvements were made, along with structural, fire-suppression, electrical and heating/ventilation system upgrades. The renovation includes all new finishes: flooring, ceilings, paint and lead/asbestos abatement. This project was completed to LEED Silver equivalency, furthering energy efficiency goals for the campus.

E. L. Wiegand Fitness Center

  • Square Footage: 108,600
  • Scope: A new fitness facility for students, faculty and staff. The four floors include an indoor running track, multi-sport courts, cardio machine and weight rooms, multiple fitness classrooms, locker rooms, office space, and more. The parking garage includes 80+ parking spaces. Finally, this work included the renovation and redesign of the campus entrance at Lawlor, and the addition of a traffic circle on campus.

CENTRAL CHILLED WATER PLANT

  • Scope: To provide chilled water to twenty-nine buildings in south campus, Facilities Services constructed a Central Chilled Water Plant next to the existing Central Heat Plant

LINCOLN HALL RENOVATION

  • Scope: Upgraded structure to address safety and seismic standards, as well as a complete conversion from a dormatory-style living space into office space for University faculty.

  • Scope: New 6,000 sq. ft. stadium club; upgraded seating and renovated suites on east and west sides. 3,800 chair back stadium seats added to replace bleachers, and new track around field.
