Research and Outreach
Research
We are committed to research that addresses local and national needs and contributes to economic diversification in our state. Our research-active faculty are working with local industries, national agencies and scholars around the globe to develop impactful research programs that push the boundaries of engineering and offer innovative technologies to researchers and industry partners.
Outreach
We offer a range of K-12 outreach programs that make engineering accessible to Nevada's next generation of technology leaders. Our outreach programs help students learn about engineering as a discipline and explore engineering as a career. We also partner with local engineering firms for collaborative research and ongoing educational opportunities.
