An integrated BS-MS program enables our outstanding students to obtain a master's degree in engineering in a shorter time. Data from the National Science Foundation shows that approximately one-third of engineering and computer science degrees in the United States are master's degrees, and graduate education is increasingly necessary for leadership and management roles.
Students can choose from two options: Plan A, which requires a thesis, and Plan B, which does not. Programs are available in the following departments:
Applicants to the integrated program must have a minimum 3.2. GPA after completing at least 75 credits toward their bachelor's degree. Students typically apply to the program in the spring of their junior year.
Outstanding engineering students who want to round out their technical expertise with a business education can apply to the BS-MBA program. A new partnership with the College of Business allows students to earn a bachelor's degree in engineering and an MBA in as few as five years.
The MBA curriculum consists of both undergraduate and graduate courses. The undergraduate courses are used to waive 21 credits of the graduate core curriculum.
Please follow application instructions outlined on the College of Business' application checklist. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.8, GMAT scores of at least 500 or GRE scores of at least 150.
