2014 Summer Program

Applications are now being accepted for the 2014 Summer Program, which features English-language courses on topics such as:

  • Robotics
  • Renewable energy
  • Product design
  • Spanish language and culture

Applications are due April 26th. Applications received before February 20th will receive a 20 percent fee reduction.

About Tecnun

Tecnun School of Engineering is part of the University of Navarra, a top-ranked Catholic University with campuses in four locations throughout Spain.

Tecnun is located on the northeast coast of Spain, only 20 kilometers from the French border. San Sebastian has been called one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, and students at Tecnun can enjoy mild weather, beautiful beaches and Basque culture.

Tecnun enrolls over 1,100 students, and about 15 percent of them participate in an international exchange program each year.

The school uses a bilingual education model (Spanish-English) in order to provide an international education to its students, who include exchange students from all over the world.

Tecnun offers engineering degrees at the undergraduate and graduate level. The school offers undergraduate degrees in:

  • Engineering in industrial technologies
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Electrical engineering
  • Engineering in industrial electronics
  • Engineering in telecommunications systems
  • Engineering in communications electronics
  • Industrial management engineering
  • Engineering in industrial design and product development
  • Biomedical engineering

The University also works closely with the CEIT Research Centre in San Sebastian, allowing students the opportunity to collaborate on research projects.

Tecnun also boasts one of the best technical libraries in Spain, with over 46,000 books. Students can also take advantage of 30 teaching laboratories and more than 1000 computers spread across six labs on campus.

Tecnun offers a one-on-one mentoring program that matches exchanges students with lecturers to help them orient and succeed at Tecnun.

Students can also participate in a "buddy program" that matches international and local students to help with language and culture issues or just show you around campus. If you are interested in the buddy program, please indicate that on your application.
