He's looking for materials to create flexible solar cells using thin flexible films. The current materials are reliable but also fairly rigid reducing the placement options. A flexible solar cell would allow cells to be placed more easily on curved surfaces like a rounded building or the roof of a car. Mohapatra has a passion for finding better, low-cost materials that will make renewable energy accessible to everyone.
