The University is a leader in renewable energy education in Nevada. Currently, the University offers two interdisciplinary programs in renewable energy: an undergraduate minor and a graduate certificate. Programs are designed to appeal to students in both technical and policy-oriented fields.
Academic Programs in Renewable Energy
The objective of the interdisciplinary minor is to provide students with technical skills, economic and political background, and analysis and design skills that will help them to better apply the knowledge gained in their major to the nationally important issues of alternative and renewable energy.
