Chemical Package Delivery. Environmental Health and Safety has started a chemical package delivery program affecting the University of Nevada, Reno campus and some groups on Valley Road. See the announcement from the Provost's office. A detailed description of the program along with a list of commonly asked questions and answers can be found here.
Learning Management System. In the Fall of 2013, Environmental Health and Safety launched a new application known as the Learning Management System that allows anyone with a netID to view their EH&S training history, generate training certificates, register for upcoming workshops, and attend online training events. Future improvements will include the assignment of training requirements on a job type and/or individual basis, a self-assessment of training requirements, and expansion of the online and workshop content available to users. The Learning Management System can be accessed here.
Campus Contacts Management System. EH&S is responsible for the generation of door cards containing the contact information and hazards associated with a laboratory space. While the hazard information can be generated using the most recent chemical inventory information, the personnel that use a particular work area are not always known. The Campus Contacts Management System enables faculty and staff to update their own occupancy information for laboratories and workspaces in University of Nevada, Reno buildings. The Campus Contacts Management System can be accessed here.
