If you are an undergraduate student or a career-changer, be sure to look at our innovative programs in integrated elementary/special education, and in special education. Each of these leads to Nevada teacher licensure in special education (K-12, mild to moderate disabilities), with reciprocity to many other states.The integrated elementary/special education program also enables you to earn K-8 elementary licensure.
If you are a graduate student, investigate all of your choices for your for master's and doctoral work! You can take many courses on-line or in hybrid formats. Beginning in fall of 2009, you can chose among two online master's degree programs for teachers. You may be able to participate in special funded projects that provide financial support in specific areas of study. You can travel and study internationally, and you have the prospect of working with productive and dedicated scholars in your field of interest.
