Biography

Colin began working as a student in the Child and Family Research Center Kindergarten/First grade class located at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2005.  He then received his Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education in 2009 and began co-teaching the Kindergarten/First grade class full time until 2011.  At that time Colin took over the classroom and has been the Lead Teacher of the K/1 class ever since.  Located in the William Raggio Building Room 2028, Colin uses his location to connect with other departments and professors on campus, allowing his classroom unique learning opportunities and real world experiences with potential career pathways.  He is passionate about his classroom, his students, and providing an interesting curriculum based on the Reggio Emelia teaching philosophy.
