The media library, a unique cooperative effort of the College of Education and the Washoe County School District (WCSD), contains a wide variety of material designed for curriculum enrichment, lesson enhancement, and professional development.
Patrons of the Learning & Resource Center consist of University of Nevada Reno students, faculty, and staff; Washoe County School District teachers, librarians and counselors; private school teachers in our area; teachers outside of Washoe County District in contiguous school sites in Lyon, Churchill, Carson City Districts, and patrons associated with the BADA/CASAT programs. They may draw from the more than 44,000 materials housed in the Learning & Resource Center in a variety of different media formats including print materials, audio and video tapes, DVD's, instructional kits, study prints, slides, computer software, artifacts, and manipulatives.
