Integrated Elementary Teacher Education

This innovative program prepares you to be an elementary teacher in Nevada for grades K-8. In addition, you earn an additional license or endorsement that enables you to be effective and prepared for today’s diverse classrooms: (1) early childhood education, (2) special education, and/or (3) English as a second language.

Teacher Licensure

If you wish to teach in grades K-12 in Nevada you must have a teaching license. A license is issued by the Nevada Department of Education following completion of a recognized teacher preparation program.

TESOL studentsTeaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

This program is designed for both native and non-native speakers of English who wish to teach ESL or EFL.
