 Ellen Fockler is the Northern Nevada Writing Project's link to the Learning Resource Center at UNR. For years, Ellen provided response and support to teachers enrolled in our Summer Open Program. Ellen is currently housed in the UNR College of Education Building, and she works full time with librarians in Washoe County.
In the summer of 2006, the Northern Nevada Writing Project donated its books on Writing Instruction to UNR's Learning Resource Library. Each summer, the NNWP plans to purchase and donate 10 new titles to the LRC, so that they can be checked out by teachers.
All Northern Nevada teachers can check these books out. Washoe County teachers can arrange to have the Learning Resource Center send the books to them through Washoe County school mail. The Books:
