Supervisors
On behalf of the Department of Curriculum, Teaching, & Learning and the Department of Educational Specialties' faculty, THANK YOU for working with our interns this semester. I hope the internship will be a rewarding experience for you. I have had a great deal of positive feedback during past semesters and continue to be impressed with your commitment to teacher education. We have a strong cadre of supervisors who are experienced educators and administrators.
Supervisors, please contact your interns prior to their first day of internship, introduce yourself, and answer any questions they may have. Then schedule your initial meeting with your interns and lead teacher no later than the second week of internship.
If there are any Lead teacher or grade changes in the placement, please emial the director with the correct information. Lead teachers must have taught 3 years and be recommended by their administrator. Report any problems to the director IMMEDIATELY. Remember that a small issue today may become a crisis tomorrow if not dealt with promptly.
