On behalf of the Department of Curriculum, Teaching, & Learning and the Department of Educational Specialties' faculty, THANK YOU for working with our intern this semester. We hope the internship will be a rewarding experience for you. We have had a great deal of positive feedback during past semesters and continue to be impressed with your commitment to teacher education. We have a strong cadre of supervisors who are experienced educators and administrators. Lead Teachers, please meet with them during their first school visit to discuss the internship and any questions you might have. The supervisor will contact the intern during the first week of internship then the supervisor will conduct an orientation meeting with you and the intern. The orientation meeting should occur by the end of the second week of internship. In the meantime, please feel free to contact us.

Payment Information
Must be filled out to be paid -
Lead Teacher information: fill forms out online, print and fax back.

      WCSD payments -
      The Internship Office will provide WCSD with a lump sum payment for all WCSD lead teachers each semester.
      Your stipend will appear on your WCSD paycheck in December for fall interns and May for spring interns.

      Grant in Aid - You may request a grant in aid for a class instead of the $200.00. It is for a reduced rate on a 3 credit class or it may be used for a reduced rate for 1 credit towards the renewal of your license (for Nevada only). Must follow the Admission requirements for the University.

Payment Contract - NOT for WCSD lead teachers

  • Later in the semester you will be receiving your contract to fill out.  Please follow these below instructions for filling it out. (Do not print or use these forms) Use blue or black ball point ink (no felt tip pens) only to fill out forms.   Any other color of pen will result in having the form to be redone which means delay in pay.
