The COE Computer Lab features state of the art technology coupled with contemporary software applications to help meet many computing needs. The lab is broken up into 2 sections - the "front" - where priority is given to classroom instruction, and the "back", where priority is given to general student (and faculty-staff) use. In addition, there are (6) WebCT workstations located in the front part of the lab that are always made available to COE students. If you would like to reserve the lab for a course or event, please note that the back portion of the lab (as well as the (6) WebCT workstations in the front lab) are not available for reservation. All computers require a UNR Net ID, and while we always try to accommodate each course or reserved event in the lab, software installs requiring a system reboot in order to use will not function. If you would like to conduct an entire course in the COE Lab and use specific licensed or free/open source software, please contact the lab manager (Cleb Maddux) in advance to make necessary preparations. Please view the details of the lab's policy, as well as the formal application for use of our facility, or you may fill out the online application.
