Biographical Information

Ph.D. from University of Southern California

 

Dr. D’Andrea joined the Department of Counseling & Educational Psychology in the fall of 1992. She specializes in statistics and research methodology and is a licensed marriage and family therapist. Dr. D’Andrea has delivered state, national and international presentations, and has published in the areas of graduate education, treating psychological trauma, and crisis intervention and management.

Statistical and research methods, crisis intervention and management, and treatment of psychological trauma.  

 

Teaching / Interest

Dr. D’Andrea teaches Statistics and Research Methods, Doctoral Research Seminar, and supervises students in the departmental counseling clinic. Her interests include doctoral education, treating psychological trauma with EMDR, and crisis intervention and management.  Dr. D’Andrea’s teaching goals include helping students to become ethical, competent researchers that can both conduct and critically evaluate research in the field of counseling.
