Page Properties
It is possible to change the background color of a page, link color, and many other things. You can also tile a picture in the background of your page! First, let's bring up the Page Properties window.
- Click on the File menu at the top of the screen
- Click on Page Properties
In the window Page Properties window that just opened there are several options.
- Title: - Changes the title of the page, which is usually displayed at the top of a web browser. You can type in the title of your page.
- URL: - The URL of the page you are working on.
- Get Background and Colors from Page: - Retrieves the background image/color and other colors from an existing page. Good to use on pages that all deal with the same subject and need the same color scheme. Just Browse for the page from which you want to use the background and colors.
- Background Image- Let's you specify the image that will be tiled across the background of the page.
- Use Custom Link Color- Allows you to set the color of unfollowed links.
- Use Custom Text Color- Specifies the default color of the text on the page.
- Use Custom Visited Link Color- Allows you to set the color of followed links.
- Use Custom Active Link Color- Sets the color of the link when the viewer clicks on link itself.
- Base URL- The URL that the page is referenced from
- Default Target Frame- If your page contains frames, this allows you to set the default frame that is targeted by an action with no specified target.
By changing one or more of the values, you change the overall look of your page, whether it be background color, or link color.
