Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology

Ecology, Evolution and Conservation Biology is an interdisciplinary doctoral graduate program specializing in the biological sciences. Our faculty members promote education and collaboration in the theoretical, experimental and applied aspects of ecology, evolution and conservation biology.

Our students will have access to departmental laboratories, as well as our research centers: the Conservation Genetics Center, the Nevada Genomics Center, the Whittell Forest and Wildlife Area/Little Valley Field Station and the Valley Road Field Laboratory.

Graduates of our program are well-equipped for careers as scientists and researchers.
