Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology

Doctor of Philosophy in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology

Students will learn basic principles of physiology and pharmacology, and should be able to integrate this information in problem solving scenarios. Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology students will learn effective oral communication skills. This is an important outcome for the development of an effective and competitive researcher in academia or in the private sector. Our students are given numerous opportunities to present their work at different platform levels and practice their verbal skills. Students will learn how to develop independent and critical thinking abilities which will enable them to contribute significantly to the advancement of knowledge in physiology and pharmacology.

Degrees in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology

  • Doctor of Philosophy in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology: The Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology (CMPP) program is an interdisciplinary graduate program that offers graduate studies culminating in the Doctor of Philosophy degree and prepares the students for careers in basic biological and biomedical research, industry, and teaching.
