The Mosaic Initiative creates an empowering support system for prospective and continuing undergraduate first-generation, low-income students. It provides a growth inspired atmosphere designed to help students achieve academic excellence and graduation from the University of Nevada, Reno

Mosaic Club
Dedicated to the ideal that individuality is our commonality. We believe through communication and shared experiences we can increase campus sensitivity and understanding for diversity in all its forms.
Sigma Omega Nu, Latina Interest Sorority, Inc.
commits itself to excellence in Academics, Cultura, and Sisterhood. Though based in the Latino culture, Sigma Omega Nu's diverse makeup ensures the understanding and promotion of world cultures, both on campus and in the greater community. As a family away from home, Sigma Omega Nu provides members with the sisterhood and family bonds lacking on many college campuses.
Lambda Phi Xi, Multicultural Sorority, Inc. 
The diversity based sorority on campus. They aim to intertwine their numerous cultures into a single masterpiece of diversity and uplift those around to show the rewards of being an active participant in a multicultural society. Their purpose is to create a diverse sisterhood where women of all natures, regardless of race, religion, political affiliation, economic standing, age, size, or sexual preference can come together in a positive, nurturing environment, uniting to advance the ideals of equality, multiculturalism, educational achievement, unsurpassed strength, and personal values. Lady Xi’s, continuously strive to exude the characteristics of true ladies and honorable leaders, both on campus and in the community.
