Services

The Mathematics Center provides several services for students. 

  • Free, drop-in tutoring (no appointment necessary) for any UNR students seeking assistance with mathematical concepts. 

    Tutors are available for one-on-one support and are familiar with MyMathLab, the online homework software used in the majority of the math/stat courses.  Therefore they can assist with software related issues in addition to helping students with mathematical concepts.
     
    Our tutors, their specific hours and their skill level can be found on our facebook page. 

  • A 20 station computer lab with up-to-date mathematics and statistics software.  The computer lab is available to faculty for reservation for occasional lectures or presentations.  
  • Graphing calculators available for rent on a semester basis (print fee form)
A VALID STUDENT ID IS REQUIRED FOR EVERY VISIT.
