The purpose of the Math Center is to help UNR students improve their mathematical skills.
Furthermore, our goal is to increase appreciation
for the utility of mathematics and statistics.
We have worked with professors from various departments to promote a
greater awareness of how mathematics and statistics is used in diverse
disciplines.
The Math Center is a 30-station
computer lab that offers free walk-in tutoring for math/stat courses. Additionally, the center conducts math
placement testing, is reserved for a variety lectures and meetings, occasionally
proctors exams for other departments and offers the most up-to-date mathematics
and statistics software.
