Research Interests

My research interests include anatomical studies to discover patterns of development or features of plant structure that confer functional advantages in physiologically stressful environments, or facilitate resistance to pathogens. The most frequent research techniques employed in such investigations involve plant collection and tissue preparation for light microscopy utilizing traditional plant microtechnique with support from electron microscopy.
