Mission Statement
The Technology Systems Supply Chain Council is a not-for-profit professional organization whose purpose is to:
- develop best practice industry standards that take costs out of the system for consumers, retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and service providers;
- provide on-going benchmarking;
- provide continued understanding of systems technologies can positively impact the supply chain.
Objectives
Supply chaintechnologies are quickly becoming an important part of company management. The manner in which businesses utilize these technologies can greatly enhance a firm's profitability and competitive position. The Technology Systems Supply Chain Council is particularly concerned with three important areas:
- developing and improving e-business supply chain management skills by creating opportunities for communication and dialogue among those in the profession.
- adding to the knowledge base of theory and practice by arranging for and conducting research.
- serving as a resource to create an awareness of the significance of supply chain technologies to business activities and its critical role in the global economy

Ansari Business Building
This facility, completed in 1982, provides 110,000 square feet for the College of Business Administration . Also housed in the building are the Nevada Small Business Development Center, Bureau of Business and Economic Research, the College of Arts and Science, Interior Design Program, Mathematics Department, Anthropology Department and a number of other academic units. The building also houses the Anthropology Research Museum. |
