District Trainer: Keith Martin

Educational Background:

B.A. in Education, University of Michigan, 1975
M.Ed. Cambridge College, 1992

Students in my classes are in grades 9-12.  As School to Careers (STC) coordinator for Dayton area schools, I work with all the students in the school with the focus on 12th grade.

How I Integrate Technology Into the Classroom:

My classroom has three PC's with Internet access that students use.  All my students do at least one internet research project per semester.  Many students, and a few faculty, have created and used PowerPoint presentations with my assistance.  I use PowerPoint and web searches frequently.

Interesting Fact:

During the summer I spend four weeks in a log cabin with no electricity, in the backwoods of Ontario, Canada.
