District Trainer: Amy Huntsman

Educational Background:

B.A. Business Education, Reading Minor, Idaho State University, Pocatello, ID

I teach business- and computer-related courses in grades 9-12 at Pahranagat Valley High School.

How I Integrate Technology Into the Classroom:

I currently teach business classes. The classroom I have is a Computer Lab with 23 computers available to students. All courses use some form of software and technology. Several classes do Desktop Publishing of a community calendar, sports schedule and much more. We create and sell ads to help fund several different organizations at the high school, as well as give a scholarship at the end of each year.

Interesting Fact:

I am a sports nut.  I coach girls basketball and am addicted to the Olympics.  I love the Utah Jazz, Kansas City Royals, and Dallas Cowboys.
