UNR Credit Information
When registering for UNR graduate credit for attending CNETC district trainer workshops the following information will be helpful:
The below information pertains to the Request for Continuing and Distance Education Registration form. This form can be obtained by contacting Mary Johnson at mlj@unr.edu or (775) 784-4777.
1) Regardless of whether or not a student has previously attended UNR, s/he must complete ALL sections of this registration form if taking a course for Graduate credit (500 or above).
2) In Part I.5, if the student wants to take graduate credit now but has never taken a graduate course at UNR and does not have a bachelor’s degree from UNR (note Part III), s/he must pay the $60.00 Graduate Special Application fee.
3) In Part III, it is the bachelor's degree information that is requested, regardless of whether the student has other degrees as well. At this time, CNETC can only offer graduate credit. Thus, the applicant must already possess a bachelors degree.
4) Please see the demo Course Information Sheet to help students complete
Part IV. You must mark on your Registration Form whether you want a Letter Grade, S/U (pass/fail), or Audit for this course.
5) Everyone must provide documentation of proper immunizations. The guidelines are provided in Part II.10.
6) If you collect money, please enter the relevant information in Part VI.
7) Please enter your initials in the lower right corner.
8) Tear off the pink copy of the form and give it to the student for his/her records. The pink copy also serves as a receipt for any money collected.
