Welcome to the University of Nevada, Reno
Writing Center. We have
two goals. The first is to work with students on writing projects from any
class at any level of instruction. The second goal is to help faculty
design writing assignments linked to critical thinking and relevant to
their courses.
In 2006, we tutored more
than 7000 students from 500 different classes, representing every
discipline. I hope that while you browse our site, you'll get some sense
of our mission and activities, and a feel for the pride we have in what we
