If this is a question you can't answer, or if you need help with putting a plan together to get to your career goal, the University of Nevada, Reno and the College of Liberal Arts have tools and services to help you.

The single best source of assistance is Career Development . They provide such programs and services as career counseling, career exploration, volunteer and internship placement, and advisement for pre-professional or garduate school planning. You can visit them any time on their home page, reach them at (775) 784-4678, or drop by their offices on the second floor of the Thompson Building, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The advisors* in our college departments can often recommend specific courses which would make good major, minor, or elective choices given your areas of interest and career goals. Often, departments also have research, internship, or independent study courses which allow you to more closely examine an area of interest at the same time that you earn credit toward degree requirements.
