Alpha Psi Omega, Upsilon Chapter
The University of Nevada, Reno Theatre Department maintains the Upsilon Chapter of the Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honor Society. The purpose of the Upsilon Chapter is to stimulate interest in theatre activities at UNR. The chapter supports theatre events by providing concessions which, in turn, provide the group with scholarship funds. The scholarships are awarded to several students at the annual spring banquet. To become a member a student must participate in theatre productions with Nevada Repertory Company and/or student productions in both performance and technical activities. These earn points toward membership. In addition, the student must exhibit a high level of theatre work ethic and commitment to the activities of Nevada Rep and the Theatre Department.
