Jennifer Greer is an
associate professor at the University of Nevada, Reno. She has
served as academic chair, associate dean, and director of graduate
studies for the Reynolds School of Journalism. She teaches research,
media effects, race, gender and media, and news writing. She works
as a consultant for the university's Center for Research Design
and Analysis. Her research areas include media effects, audience
research, gender and diversity issues, media content, political
communication, and online communication. She's been named the
outstanding teacher for the School of Journalism twice, most recently
this year.
