Dr. Marta Elliott is Associate Professor of Sociology. She received her Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University in 1994. She joined the sociology faculty at the University of Nevada, Reno in 1996. Her areas of research and teaching interests include the race, class and gender inequalities in health, religion and health, and military veterans' health.
